Alumni Profile: Zac Tallent
Updated: Dec 1, 2022
Zac Tallent is a 2022 graduate from Anderson University with a degree in journalism. He has since moved on to Iowa Wesleyan University where he has fulfilled the position as graduate assistant coach for the Tigers while he completes their athletics administration masters program.
“Transitioning to a masters program while working as a GA was smooth for me. I was able to start classes in the summer before the athletes arrived on campus.”
Tallent has been enjoying his team and working with Coach MD Daniels. Tallent has been hired to work with the tight ends.
Outside of football, Tallent has decided to take his talents out of journalism and commit fully in the sports world working in the athletics administration program.
Tallent loves coaching, but if he decides to move away from that area of athletics, he knows he has options. “It would help me if I ever got out of coaching but still wanted to work in athletics. I would have the education to do so.”
Tallent enjoyed his time at AU. When we asked him if he had any advice for incoming freshmen, Tallent shared, “Get involved. Find people in the residence halls that you connect with and enjoy your four years.”
